Sometimes Art is just a pretty picture
“Kennedy Plaza in Winter”
This is a time-lapse photograph taken at 2 in the morning in Providence RI. It was 5 deg. F out and so the moisture is crystalized out of the air making it very clear. I think it was a 1 1/2 minute exposure at f11 on 35mm Kodachrome slide film
This was in the day when meta data was what one wrote on a slip of paper

As much as I look for meaning in day to day experiences and appreciate naked beauty in the mundane…I can’t help but reach for my camera when I’m exposed to what is after all just another pretty picture

“No Further” is a remnant of bygone days abandoned in the Mohave Desert of California somewhere outside of Barstow.

With Mt Lukens in the background. I have to wonder, what is the story this rock can tell? All by itself out here on a flood plane. What is it’s future?
